Will hire again for future job. I hired this firm to convert a very complicated collage of photos into vector illustration. The end result was exactly what I was hoping for, but it took a little longer than expected. The main problem was our schedules...I would usually receive a status update email around 3:00 am PT, and wouldn't respond until 8:00 am PT or later...by then, I guess it was too late and I didn't hear back until the next day around 3:00 am PT. This made making changes and giving feedback on progress a slow process. Because of this, the project took several days longer than originally intended. Aside from the schedule issue, communication was not as great as I would have liked, but it was effective. The response to my emails were usually very short and to the point...mostly I was just given an updated design with the changes I asked for, but no explanation or acknowledgement that my questions/changes had been understood and implemented. In the end, I got what I wanted...but I would have appreciated a little better communication during the entire process to give me peace of mind that everything was coming along. Ultimately, I am happy with the end result. I'm planning to do another similar design in the future, and I will certainly come back to re-hire this firm. That's pretty much all you need to know, I guess. I would hire them again.”
